Tyler's Birthday

Tyler turned 12 on Dec. 3 !! It is so hard to believe. The video at the bottom is probably one of the worst renditions of " Happy Birthday" I have ever heard.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble
themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Touchdown Dolphins!

This is a video of one of many touchdowns by TJ. This team is a great group of boys.

Bailey is not on the field in this video.

The Dolphins are now 5-1. Two more games in the season!

Antique Show

About one year ago, one of our good customers (who also happens to be our landlord) asked me to help her decorate for the Annual Antique Show at the Art Museum. Since that time we have talked and planned, and talked and planned. I did not know at the time what a JOB this would be, or what an honor it is to be asked to decorate for this show. It was a great experience! Lots of hard work, but I am so glad I did it. Here are some pictures of our creations. The antique show is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Greenville County Art Museum. If that is your thing, you might want to check it out.
Above is the Main food table at the front entrance. We did many arrangements around this table.Below are some close ups of each arrangement.

The arrangements below were at the back entrance to the museum.

3 months later

Oh my goodness! It has been almost 3 months since I have blogged. Sorry faithful blog friends. (all 3 of you maybe??) I guess I am as good at blogging as I am photography!

So .... I don't think I can completely update everything that has happened in the last 2+ months, nor would you sit and read all of it.

We had an interesting summer. That's really all I can say about it. Tyler started Middle School this year. Can you believe that? Where do the years go? Bailey started 4th grade. We are in full swing with football for Bailey. His team is 2-1 so far. Tyler will play basketball , and they both want to play baseball this spring. We have limited them to 2 sports each. Even that is enough to make you crazy!

That's it for now! I will try to do better.

Vacation

We came back from a GREAT vacation a week ago. We went with our good friends, and had a really pleasant, relaxing time. Could not have been better. Longer maybe ,but not better. But.....I have had the hardest time getting back in the groove. I expected it last week, but this morning when I woke up and started my day, I thought, "What's your excuse this week?" Anyway....here are some pictures from our time in Charleston/ Isle of Palms.

Our 12th Anniversary!

Sunday June 22 was our 12th anniversary. Unfortunately, that afternoon we were involved in an accident.
The EMS guy joked with me and said, "Well I guess your anniversary went out with a BANG!"

We are so thankful that the Lord protected us like he did. It has not been fun, but it could have been so much worse.

Thank you so much for your prayers, calls, e-mails, hospital visits, home visits, and food.

Our family is so blessed to have such a wonderful circle of friends and family. You do not know how much that means. I just pray I can be half the friend or relative to whomever I see in need as you all have been to us.

God is good, all the time!

Tyler's Graduation

Tyler graduated from 5th grade! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Not that he graduated , LOL, but because time has absolutely flown by. I cannot believe I will have a child in Middle School in a few months. It was a nice ceremony complete with caps, and pomp and circumstance (no gowns, no diplomas) we have to save something for high school right? That will be here before I know it. This is Tyler standing with his teacher as he was announced at Graduation. You will just have to trust me on this since this picture stinks. Thankfully, Papa Landreth had his video camera and he knows how to operate it unlike me and my camera.

The kids in their caps. Again the best picture I could get as Tyler was turning to talk to a friend.
